  1. Such a great loss, losing such a kind & gentle human. Childhood memories at the Lageris household will forever be cherished, and the big family bbq’s run by Pappou Pita will remain unforgettable. A loving Husband, Father & Pappou. May he rest in Peace 🩵

  2. Theio Peter we will miss you so much.
You became our family not just a neighbour. Each one of us have beautiful memories of times we spent with you. These will never be forgotten. Your kindness, love and support will never be forgotten.
May your memory be eternal theio. Kalw paradise. Rest In Peace.

  3. Papou,
Was there from the moment I was born and by my side throughout my whole life.
Every achievement I accomplished he was there.
Almost every school pick up he was there atleast 20 minutes early always waiting for us in his white Holden. Always there to watch us during holidays, overnight stays, sick days and times where mum would come late from work to get us. Always making sure we were fed with our homework done (I never did my homework) Always making sure we did everything safely (like when we would ride our bikes on the street to not past the second house from His). Papou and Yayia would always take my sister and myself on various road trips such as the farm(s), south coast, the infamous Tv show “home and away”s summer bay (palm beach) or any local shopping centre’s mainly being campsie, cinemas, parks and many more always playing his random CD mix on the longer drives. A lot of dear and precious memories will forever live on in my memory.
His relationship with my Yayia is something I’ll always look up to and respect as they did almost everything together and were inseparable….showed me the true structure of love.
The love, respect, patience, disputes and teaching is something I will cherish in my heart forever as I know it’s okay to send a dish back to the kitchen if it’s not to my standard as I’ve watched him shamelessly do so many times at restaurants.
My Papou is someone who has never given up on me, would always make sure I was okay and be there to talk to me about anything and never ignore me.
Even though majority of my childhood I was always causing stress and annoyance to my Yayia and Papou I always felt a strong sense of love, proudness and warmth. Theres so many more things I would love to write and share however this is already too long.
    My Papou,
I will always love you forever. I will miss you so much. You will always be on my mind and I know you’ll be watching down on me forever until the moment we meet again where I can finally scratch your back and say to you “Ella re” one more time.
    I love you. ❤️

  4. Pappou. There are no words to describe my emotions. So many of my favourite memories are with you. A man who would drop everything to help anyone. Who would spoon feed me sugar as a child, and wake me late at night for cold watermelon in summer as a teenager. My greatest defender, and biggest cheerleader. The most understanding and logical man I’ve ever known. You could fix ANYTHING. My biggest laughs were always created by your humour.
The love you showed yiayia, from stories from the past we were told, to what we saw daily have shaped my view of love and taught me to never accept anything less.
I wish you and Henry would have met, but I hope he grows to be even half the man you are. I already tell him stories about you. I already miss you more than anything. I love you, pappou.
