    and trips to Manyana beach…..off the beaten track camping trips, early morning swims on school days with a Kombi full of neighbour’s kids…endless fun and adventure !!

Mum told me that after he got his first job in Egypt when he was maybe 15 year old he would give pocket money to his sisters who were much younger, and they would spend it on sweets, he was always teasing them, but also cared for them, they loved their older brother and missed him terribly when he left for Australia. It was many years later they would meet again, and of course his nephews and nieces also got to finally meet him and experience first had what a unique person he was, mischeavious, funny, crazy behind the wheel, but above all welcoming and generous. We will all miss him as we celebrate the great life he had,
