  1. Kris Naidoo was truly a humble and loving person.
He was a friend to all and had been dedicated family man.
Although he left the shores of South Africa many years ago he still maintained contact with his kith and kin.
We are going to miss his familiar voice and we pray that his Athma will attain Satgati.
We pray 🙏 that his family will have strength and courage to face this Great Loss. May they have peace.

  2. A man known for his kindness and humility was fondly called Krish Unna by my siblings and I. He always called us darling or ma and never by name indicative of his love. He was an integral part of my childhood when we lived communally in Archery Road, leaving me with fond memories of our Christmas luncheon under the peach tree.
He was a generous and welcoming person who, in 1996, willingly sponsored our emigration to Australia, but regretfully, we didn’t pursue it.
I’m grateful to him for constantly enquiring about my waining health and recovery too.
Krish Unna, you leave an indenable legacy.I’ve always admired your love and passion for life and living. Despite your multiple health challenges, you lived life to the fullest. Your positive mindset and zest for life added years to your life and life to your years. You’ve always been the swuave and impeccable gentleman of note, who was always humble and committed to family.
I pray that God almighty grants your family strength and fortitude to cope with the huge void your demise has left in their lives.
May your soul rest in eternal peace. Gone, but forever in our hearts.

  3. May I take this opportunity to pay tribute to my youngest uncle and the last of the siblings. With his passing, another Rapeti generation comes to an end.
I vaguely remember the family home in Clairwood, where my grandparents and their children resided. All the siblings lived together and has my generation start to grow the family moved to make their own homes.
Uncle Krish and all his brothers and sisters were very close knit family. Him being the youngest was loved and adored by all.
He was very involved in music, remember the times the band Tony and the Tip Toes practiced on the varandha in Clairwood. He amazed me with his skills on the drums.
He enjoyed a very successful career and his hard work and dedication allowed him to make a very comfortable home for Aunty Kay and the girls.
He loved family, having fun and socializing. We missed his company when the family emigrated to Australia. Here again he showed his ability to work hard and set up home in a new country.
He never lost contact with us the family he left in South Africa. Always checking that we were all doing well and should there be a death in the family it hurt him that he could not be there to console and support. Today the role is reversed and we all feel extremely sad to not be there to comfort Aunty Kay and the family.
    Rest in peace Uncle Krish.
With love from MA and the Rapeti family.

  4. This is indeed the end of another chapter of the Thatiah Rapeti Naidoo Family.
The Family was a United and Colourful one….all living in the same yard in Archary Road.
I so fondly remember my childhood days visiting my Aunt BudreeAppa, with my Mum and the warmth hospitality of all her children.
This was done at least once a month on a Sunday.
We used to travel by bus and start the day I think at 148 Archary Road.
After breakfast we left to visit all the other relatives in the surrounding roads
At end we will return to my Aunt’s.
On many occasions Kris used to accompany us to the Main Road, South Coast Road to leave us safely in the bus to Merebank…. will never forget his kindness.
His big heartedness never ceased .
On my holidays in Sydney he made sure he insisted he pick me from my hotel and take me home for a meal, once to Gay home and even to the market.
We continued keeping in touch .
Will never ever forget his gentle Thatiah Smile…which ALL of the Siblings had .

Will never ever forgot his hospitality and generosity.
We pray that May and the children will have the strength to overcome this great loss 🙏.
    Go well my Bro.
    Rest in Peace.
    May your Athma Attain Satgati.
    Om Shanti Shanti.
