Patric and I are so thankful to be recipients of Joo Lee’s warm hospitality. Such a gracious and accommodating host taking us to places like Tai Ho village and Hong Kong Peak. Such an adventurous spirit. Such an accomplished artist – all those coloured pencil art, pop-up cards and more. I will cherish the conversations we had. Those few days we had together to reconnect were precious and much more so now.
We shall always cherish your memory Joo Lee.
Just like the colours in the vast world of arts and craft you introduced to me when I was a little girl, you bring so much of these colours to our lives. And I will never forget the day you introduced me to blue cheese and crackers in Auckland.
All these memories will be treasured deeply. Your warmth and love will truly be missed by all of us.

It was such a stroke of good luck that after so many years we met in India a little more than a year ago. Our 28 year old friendship meant that when we met after a gap- we picked up right where we left it in Singapore.
They say that God loves those who die young. I am pretty sure you were loved by everyone. In my heart and mind you will always remain alive and I will cherish our memories. Go in peace 😘

Joo Lee a better neighbour we couldn’t have had. The memories of Mad-Hatter birthday parties and passing Gianna over the wall so that she could spend time with you and feed the fishes. We can’t forget the sweet treats and baked good you would always drop off and all our impromptu conversations over the wall.
