To my brother in Christ.
Thank you for the first day we met when I was in the early stages of my walk with God, A piece of what it truly means and looks like to praise God unconditionally in absolute freedom.
Till we meet again,
Rest in Eternity.
Lots of love bro
My best mate
U will be missed
Im trying to contact Bretts dad 0499854928
I’m back home today and thinking of you brother each time I close my eyes. I just heard the black cockies chatting outside in the rainforest. They haven’t been here for ages. Your favourite animal. Love you my baby brother. We’ll all be together again one day. I know you’re with Mum and the Lord now.
When I learned of your untimely passing, my mind was flooded with childhood memories, of long days being kids together, the kind of simple moments that shape a childhood.
A cousin is our first best friend and you were someone I shared a piece of growing up with. I will always remember the boy I spent those school holidays with, the laughter, the mischief, and the easy closeness of family when we were young.
Rest easy, Aussie. Tiff x
Brett would always light up the room with his larrikin sense of humor, imitations and rye observations.
Can’t count the amount times he had a whole group of friends or even just a few of us in fits of laughter.
Fond memories of us as boys swimming in the local water holes in Glenbrook National Park after racing each other there on our BMX bikes!
We love you mate.
Will be missed a lot.
Cous I remember when you were born, a little brother for Gavin. Another son for Aunty Rose and Uncle Rodney, who became a little mischievous blond haired boy who affectionately was known as Ozzy. I remember the family visits , BBQs the good times. I pray your family, to find the strength in each other and the love they all shared for you to get them through this sad and difficult time. All those memories will become treasures of the heart that were once shared by anyone that knew you. Ozzy you will never be forgotten. ❤️
Your whole face would light up when you would laugh or smile Brett – your eyes had their own special sparkle.
I believe you are now looking into the eyes of the one who created you and created the stars your eyes reflected. You have reached the destination of your search for peace, forgiveness and unconditional love in the arms of Jesus. Forever free and finally home.
Sarah ❤️❤️❤️
I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Brett.
A new friend & a great support to me in the last 9 months.
Brett was always a comforting presence in difficult times.
My deepest sympathies to his family and friends at this difficult time, particularly Brett’s son that he would talk of so fondly.
Thinking of you all as you navigate life without his kind presence here on this earth 🙏❤️
Fly high and rest easy, Brett. So many great memories of you as a kid, playing and being silly. I’ll always be grateful for my cousins and the special friendships we all shared. Hope you got heaps of your Mums special, soft cuddles but know you’ll be missed here by all of us who loved you. Love Always to you and all of our families.
Rest now Brett and know that you were very special to so many people.
You were cherished by not only your own family but the entire Grant Clan and there are many of us.
You may have left us bodily, but all the wonderful happy times spent in your company, remains with us till we join you.
