  1. Tribute to Tio Zeca

There are some people whose presence fills a room long before they walk into it — whose laughter, kindness, and spirit stay with us long after they’re gone. For our family, that was Tio Zeca.He was the great uncle we all looked forward to seeing, the one who made every gathering brighter and every moment more fun. Some of our best memories were built around him — especially those early‑morning fishing trips to Clifton Gardens and Captain Cook. Leaving home at 4am, half-asleep but excited, just to make sure we claimed our favourite spot under that special tree. Hours of fishing, stories, jokes, and then heading out on the boat before finishing the day with lots of cold beer and a massive BBQ big enough to feed an army. That was Tio Zeca — generous, joyful, and always making sure everyone was looked after.I’ll never forget the weekends spent working on cars . He was the family mechanic, the one who could fix anything, and he did it with patience, pride, and a smile. One of my favourite memories will always be when he built the motor for my first car, the Ford Escort RS2000, right there at my parents’ house. The smell of the BBQ, the beer and wine flowing, Portuguese music blasting in the background — it was chaos, it was family, and it was perfect. And when we finally got the RS2000 back on the road, the look on his face said everything.
Tio Zeca was a top guy — kind-hearted, caring, always ready to help, and always willing to share whatever he had. He lived with generosity, loved deeply, and gave without expecting anything in return. He leaves behind memories that will never fade and a legacy of love that will stay with us forever.Tio Zeca, you will always be remembered and missed.
    Rest in peace.With love,
    Danny & Kelly Gama
